Supporting Seniors in a Dynamic Care Environment”

The next generation of retirees is larger than any in recent history, and, as the role of long term care is changing, so are the expectations of of these new seniors. We will explore the evolving care and community options available to people as they age.


PRESENTER’S BIO

Andrew Clauson is the executive director at Westminster Place, Presbyterian Homes’ senior living community in Evanston, Ill. Clauson oversees all community operations, manages community staff, fosters resident relations and serves on the corporate leadership team.

Before coming to Westminster Place, Clauson was the executive director for Covenant Retirement Communities in Skokie, Ill. Prior to that, he held Midwest- and Chicago-based leadership positions with Aramark, the food and facilities management company, and co-founded Lake Street Supply, which provides architectural landscape products for business and consumer customers. He began his career with the Chicago Christian Industrial League.

Clauson earned his B.A. from Wheaton College in Wheaton, Ill. Additionally, the long-term Chicago resident, who lives in the city with his wife and two children, volunteers his time to a range of youth, ecumenical and environmental concerns.
